PCT pal Keith Jones joined me in southern Maine.

Catch a ride out of Rangeley with Ed from CT. Hike to the Piazza Rock shelter where Clark 165 lights the candle and takes off! Keith and I hike more slowly up the Horn, Saddleback and Saddleback Jr., taking many breaks and talking a lot. We make Poplar Ridge Lean-to, nice to have to ourselves. Great views all day. We eat big on town foods, etc. It was a great day, Keith challenged by the climbs, which are second-nature to me
