Journey Day 285 | AT Day 108

Shelters were welcome after days like this one on the Appalachian Trail.

Iffy, changing weather. Wet, so wind up soaked. Rains on and off. Pass roaring creek, get to Congdon Camp. Rest, munch, push on to Harmon Hill, then down to a road. Cross and  photograph a Long Trail sign, “A footpath through the wilderness.”

On up a good climb to Nauheim. Abandon big plans. Stop, as Jack catches up. We eat,  drink, read, update.
