Joe Goldstein tells me about a new trail which I hike to the Morgan Stewart Shelter, then over ridges, through pastures to a crossroads. Finally I hike down the road, get lost. Postmaster Joe gives me water, takes me back to the trail. I hike a short distance and crash.
