This day in Pennsylvania, fog obscured the surroundings.

Rains all night. Pack wet, push on through the fog, wet brush soaking my clothes and gear. Stop at Pete’s Mountain Shelter, then push on. Can’t see whatever there was to see.

Pass historical spots in St. Anthony’s Wilderness. Only brief human encounters. Make Rausch Gap Shelter after a long day. Cook in the dark, eat, crash, glad to be under cover.
