Good climb from John’s Hollow. Clearing, but the weather’s still shaky. Also humid. Catch Michael P., passed by the Blues Brothers in “terminator mode” to make a VMI graduation. At a break at the Punchbowl, take spring water, despite warnings. Long break with Jack. Slow afternoon, down across a nice creek where we exhaust the peanut butter and jelly supplies around the Lynchburg Reservoir. Long walk to shelter. Arrive exhausted. Eat, b.s. and crash.
