We enjoyed views with the ranger in the Rich Mountain fire tower.

Breakfast  with rafters.  Then away with regrets. Nice place for a stay. Out of town and up the hill with Joe, on his last fling before marriage in Rhode Island. Nice talk with Ranger Neal Barnett (or Burnett) at Rich Mt. Fire lookout after a nice hike up past a marriage on Mill Ridge. At Spring Mt. Shelter, Spartans, James, Dave (after 11 miles in two days),  Jack, Snaggletooth, Joe. Hacky sack, munch, B.S. I crash up the hill after a campfire.
