Keith and I up from our hallway/bedroom. nab toilet paper to combat embattled bowels. Then off to the trail...

Hike up old railroad grade, then trail in woods. To Lake Valhalla. No Jeff, who left last night.

More footwork to break spot on ride with Keith. He leaves as I stop. Good views of Glacier Peak.

Open hiking over ridges on Grizzly Peak. Poop, then up to Pear Lake.

Meet Tom Stackhouse, veteran of 1983 PCT hike. According to legend, the only finisher, north to south, that year. 

Short, rocky  climb over pass. Down to Meadow Creek Trail. Another guy camped near small lake. Push on up, Finally put it down just past small  creek.
