Journey Day 195 | AT Day 18

It cleared and clouded as I hiked out of the Smokies.

Hard rain falling, but I push out in full gear. Gloomy weather pushes me mostly downhill. Pass one person all day. Mesmerized by movement, it clears, clouds alternately. Leave notes to Jack and the MSU guys, push out of the Smokies. Nice hike along creek to I-40, cross, up Snowbird Mountain to a magical spot by a creek. Alone again in nature. another 20-mile day ends with tunes, gurgling creek.
